Transforming education, transforming ourselves: inspirational spaces for learning

Following on from the 2011 MELA Festival of Learning, there was stong interest in continuing a debate around the core theme of the event. As a result we have decided to turn the theme into a year long project that will reside here and allow others who were unable to attend the festival to contribute as they see fit.

This is an open project and is primarily virtual, though if there is sufficient demand we may organise meetings at a later point. We will post content including resources, papers, ideas and challenges on these pages and would encourage you to send us materials to add if you think they are of interest.

We may also add a dedicated blog for this project to encourage more informal exchange if that seems appropriate.

What will we do with it?

Primarily this material is for anyone to do what they like with it - the nature of an open project. All we ask is that you let us know what you do so that we can observe how it has been used.

At Lifeworlds it will contribute in some ways to other projects we have ongoing such as What is Learning For? and 2020 Vision.
