Lucy Neal OBE, Co Chair Transition Town Tooting and initiator of Taking Up Space Cultural Leadership Programme network on Lifeworlds Learning facilitation and support to Taking Up Space, Oct 2010 - Feb 2011

Excellent activities, engagement, and enjoyment has supported students' learning. I developed better relationships with other staff/departments and students, plus deeper knowledge of activities and sustainability.

Teacher, Queen Elizabeth School, Ashbourne on Lifeworlds Learning yr 7 & 8 enrichment day projects, July 2010

I've suggested to the BEd Programme Leader, the Asst Head of School of Education and other final year tutors that we explore other opportunities to 'use' you in our programmes as I firmly believe in the importance of your input, and know from first hand how engaging you make the material.

Claire Scott, Senior lecturer, Initial Teacher Education, University of Derby on Lifeworlds input to BEd course, Dec 2010

Well done for your fabulous chairing of a robust group yesterday! Not easy to have that amazing concentration of strong characters, with no-one backward in coming forward with what they think! I'm completely satisifed with yesterday's meeting.

GLCC Project Manager on Lifeworlds chairing and facilitating a national meeting for the OSDE community, Jan 2011.

Just to say a huge thank you for all your hard work. From my perspective I'm delighted that you have been the ones to be driving and shaping the network and I hope we can live up to ethos, principles and professionalism that have marked the work in your capable hands.

Judy Clark, Network Manager, National Literacy Trust Leaders Network on Lifeworlds visioning and development of a new national literacy network for the NLT, May 2011.

Thanks for the latest MELA newsletter - some useful info and links. It lead me to watch your recommendation of the Chimamanda Adichie: The danger of a single story TED talk - great link! Thanks for that. Came across it at just the right time as we ran a course yesterday about bringing global issues into the classroom through literacy - we used part of the film and it was really well received by the teachers. Thanks!

Paul Green, Regional Project Manager, One World Network North East
