Lifeworlds specialises in the delivery and development of bespoke services whether they be for schools, organisations or communities. If there is learning involved, then so are we!

Here are a few examples of our bespoke work:

Peak District Learning and Discovery Team (Dec 2011 - Feb 2012)

Lifeworlds were commissioned to support the team to shape their vision and plan their delivery framework for learning with schools, families and communities across the Peak Park area. This work was particularly sought following changes within the authority itself and the wider educational and learning setting. It forms part of Lifeworlds' ongoing work around learning, change and the management of change in educational settings.

Connected Leaders Course (July 2011 - July 2012)

Lifeworlds were asked to be a lead partner in developing a course 'Connected Leaders' for leadership around Education for Sustainable Development. This involves working alongisde other partners including the Peak District National Park Authority, WWF, Derbyshire County Council and Derby City to develop a residential course for head teachers looking to lead sustainability in their schools. Lifeworlds will also play a lead role in developing the bespoke support to follow on from the course and to offer legacy opportunities beyond the course. Link Schools Programme, Link Community Development (Nov 2010 - Jan 2012)

Lifeworlds were commissioned by Link Community Development (LCD) to help them develop a bespoke CPD programme to support schools involved in, or thinking of joining, their Link Schools Programme. This work involved working with the full national delivery and support team and then combining the latest thinking around international learning with the practicialities and development oriented focus of LCD as an organisation. Following delivery of CPD sessions the final stage of this engagement was the production of a self-learning powerpoint module and a PDF publication to support linking in schools and their communities.
